The TBXDS seems slow. How can I speed things up?

There are two scenarios:

1. You're requesting a large number of separate issues, rather than a single collection all at once. See if you can get access to an existing collection, or a dedicated collection which can be maintained just for you.
2. You're requesting large collections. In such cases, the TBXDS has much data to consider, and even more ways to format it. Look at the <Parameter> description to see if you can leave out information. For instance, it's usually not necessary to retrieve <Sector> (Organisation) and <PrimaryIssue> information, so you could try the following settings
   • <ResponseSettings>
     • <Parameter name="omit-primaries" value="yes"/>
     • <Parameter name="merge-sectors" value="yes"/>
   • </ResponseSettings>
   You should see a dramatic improvement in performance now.
